Coaches

Head Coach Jason Block took over the Lions' baseball program in 2005, in the school's second year of varsity competition.  After playing at Concordia University Wisconsin, Coach Block was an assistant coach at Milwaukee Lutheran High School for one year and JV coach at Denver Lutheran High School for seven years.  Coach Block teaches math at Lutheran High School and serves as the school's athletic director.

Coach John Amschel joined the Lions' coaching staff in 2007.  He is another former player for the Concordia Wisconsin Falcons.  Coach Amschel is a former player for Coach Block at Denver Lutheran High School.  He has had high school baseball coaching experience in Wisconsin as well as at Thomas Jefferson High School.  Coach Amschel also coaches basketball at Lutheran Parker and is the varsity boys' soccer coach at Denver Lutheran High School.

Coach Sean Winders joined the Lions' coaching staff in 2009.  Coach Winders has coached numerous youth league teams in Douglas County. His son, Travis, is a sophomore pitcher/infielder for the Lions.
